Protection of personal data is a right that individuals have against unauthorized use of their data by other persons or organizations. With the adoption of the Law No. 6098 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), a new era has entered in our country, and while the said Law has equipped citizens with certain rights against real and legal persons defined as data controllers, it has also imposed certain obligations on data controllers. These obligations concern especially the data processing and human resources units of companies. In this context, as ARC Law Office, we, as ARC Law Office, provide the necessary support in terms of determining and analyzing the obligations to which the clients are subject, providing the necessary cooperation with the IT departments during the creation of the data recording systems that the clients must use in order to fulfill the relevant obligations, and harmonizing the data recording systems currently in use with the obligations under the KVKK, We provide services such as drafting and/or revising the contracts that clients are required to conclude with their customers or business partners within the scope of KVKK, and providing in-house awareness trainings to all relevant departments within the Data Controller in order to ensure full compliance with the obligations under the KVKK.
